Musicians Welcome To Play At Rivertown Taphouse Three Sundays In February
For three Sunday nights in February, musicians will raise money for three charitable organizations at Piermont’s Rivertown Taphouse during BILLYPALOOZA: Jamming For A Cause. The Billy of BILLYPALOOZA is Billy Procida, CEO of Procida Funding & Advisors. He will be joined on stage by South Nyack’s mayor Bonnie Christian, Jim Birnbaum, a partner at Reda & Birnbaum, and Piermont resident Drew Ciganek.
The jam session, open to any musician on a first-come basis, will raise money for SHARE AFRICA (Feb. 10th), Keep Rockland Beautiful (Feb. 17), and St. Thomas Aquinas Annual Heritage Fund and Sparkill Creek Watershed Alliance (Feb.24). The events run from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The three-night fundraiser is sponsored by Procida Funding & Advisors, Tallman Beach & Pool Club, GeeFree, and ConnectOne Bank.
Tallman Beach & Pool Club, owned by Procida, is selling 2019 season passes, and donating 10% of the proceeds to the charity of that jam session. This promotion will run until April 30.
GeeFree, a gluten free food company, is offering tastings of its product line and giveaways, with proceeds going to charities.
Every night at 7 p.m., there will be a 50/50 raffle and giveaways with generous donations, prizes, and gifts from all sponsors.
