Cait Conley Is A Leader In CD17 With The Skills That Good Public Service Demands

Cait Conley has spent her life developing and demonstrating those skills.
At a time when families are struggling with costs and democracy is under attack, we need a leader in CD17 with the skills that good public service demands.
Cait grew up in a middle class family that understood the value of the dollar. She understands the concerns of families who are trying to afford healthcare, housing, utilities, and a secure future for their children. Cait comes from a family of honest, hard-working people who raised a daughter with a strong work ethic and true caring for the needs of others.
Cait’s career also demonstrates strong, ethical leadership and high standards, skills that were honed at West Point, Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
In the army, Cait first served abroad to protect us, and later she served to protect us at home. Those were positions where integrity, accountability, sound judgment, and respect for the truth are not optional. Our lives and our democracy depended on these skills.
America must elect members of Congress who hold these critical attributes.
Cait has worked in combat zones, federal agencies, and the White House Situation Room, where problems cannot be solved through slogans or personal attacks. She understands that foreign relationships must be honored, that alliances require commitment, and that policy must be guided by public servants who always follow the law. Our government can not be managed by a handful of billionaires or lobbyists with private interests driving their decisions.
Cait recognizes that people need to be treated with dignity and that every resident deserves a voice regardless of party, background, identity, or zip code. Her commitment to protecting healthcare, lowering costs, strengthening education, safeguarding democracy, avoiding ‘forever’ wars, and opposing cuts to research reflects a focus on the lives of Hudson Valley families. It’s time to move away from radical, personal, and baseless claims and vendettas, and return to common sense, proven programs.
We need a representative in Congress who listens and responds with action, leads ethically, thinks strategically, and works to unite rather than divide. Cait Conley has the character, experience, and leadership skills our district requires. And she knows that effective representation does not mean blindly following a flawed president.
Early Voting begins on Saturday, October 24. That’s when I’ll be voting for Cait Conley for Congress.
